Akhumtha is the youngest in our gang - he was born in October 2024 and has only just turned 1!
Akhumtha was born weighing 1.9kg and has definitely broken some sort of record by getting to a weight of 12kg within the first 10 months of being Earth-side.
He's a big fan of vegetables, specifically pumpkin, sweet potato and potatoes. He absolutely loves playing with car toys - luckily, older brother Imo has tons from when he was younger - and any toys that make a sound.
He is his mom Yolanda's biggest fan, always showering her with surprise kisses and a big 'mwaaaa' - lucky lady! He also loves his big brother Imo!
Akhumtha is already taking after his brother Imo; his crèche teacher reports that he is quite mischievous and has been caught throwing the other kids' bottles away. We'll have to have a conversation with him about that when he learns how to talk!
His current vocabulary consists of: mama, tata, 'thatha' (take), 'uzotsha' (you will burn yourself), 'uzowa' (you will fall there). It looks to me that Akhumtha will grow into the type of person who always looks out for others and makes sure they're okay!
